Asian Americans Advancing Justice—Chicago is excited to work with the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations again in putting out the 2014 Asian Pacific American Heritage month calendar. We invite organizations to submit information on events celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
Criteria: a) event must take place during the month of May 2014; b) event must take place in the City of Chicago; c) event must provide opportunity for the public to learn and/or celebrate Asian Pacific American heritage, issues,contributions, achievements and/or experiences. The deadline for submissions to get into the print calendar is Friday, March 7.
In addition, this year we are launching a year-round calendar on the Advancing Justice—Chicago website to highlight events happening throughout Chicago related to the culture, issues, and experiences of Asian Americans. We will be promoting the calendar through our different social media channels. This same form can be used to submit events throughout the year.
